Thoughts

It's Tuesday but, my days are all jumbled up. I think it's because Andy has been home with his injured knee. I need to do laundry and dishes. Finish the wedding album I have been working on. My mind is tired and fuzzy. I got enough sleep, or maybe too much. That could be my problem. It's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day! I took pics of Taylor yesterday. He was being so cute and smiley for Mommy!

What can I say? I am in love! He is such a cutie pie! Poor little guy has allergies and has been so good about it. Doesn't complain much. Got a little bit of scrapping done with Jess yesterday. Hope to finish the project I am working on and do some scrappin' for myself. I really hope that they approve my website today. I would love to get the ball rolling on finding business. I could start advertising and such! So much work to do and now I wait! I am excited though, think this is gonna be really good! Have a good day y'all!

Dreams

Dreams are a funny thing. For as long as I can remember I have always had vivid dreams. Since Taylor I haven't been dreaming as much. My guess is this is due to sleep deprivation. Too bad. Dreaming was always like having a free mini movie theater in my head.

Moving on. It's Friday. My guess is the weekend will be busy. As most weekends are around here. When will life slow down a little? My guess is not anytime soon.

Crazy

Blogger challenge- Who's the one person who drives you crazy?

That's an easy one. It's my husband! It's true, I love his dearly but sometimes he makes me crazy. KWIM?

OMG, guess what I did??? I cut my hair. Majorly cut it! From my lower back to my chin. Ok, wait that sounded like I had hair on my back. Anyway, you know what I mean. Yesterday, was a big day. I also got approved so not I am officially a Memory Works consultant. I can't wait to jump right in and get people scrappin'. Still working on setting up my website, and waiting for my starter kit. This is gonna be a great adventure. I just know it!

{YAWN}

You know those mornings where you wake up early and you feel great, the world seems to hold so much possibility just because you have this fabulous morning all to yourself??? Well this isn't one of those mornings. This is one of those mornings where I am so tired that I can barely see let alone think. This is the byproduct of having an infant. I am not complaining really just saying. I AM TIRED!
Found this cool thing on the Dixie Chicks website where you can listen to their new CD for free. The whole thing! I am really diggin' it! I may not agree with them politically but, I have to give them props for standing their ground, for sticking together and up for each other. http://dixiechicks.msn.com/?GT1=8135. Some day I will figure out how to make links a single word on here. This is probably not that day! Who knows what day this is. I ma thinking more of the kind of day where I remind myself to count to 10 a lot!

Stuff

My kid insists on wearing his shoes without socks. I really have no clue where this is coming from. Little men are so strange. Like this morning, he dumps his cherrios on the floor and then freaks out when I cleaned them up. Does he think that the floor is one giant plate? I really don't get it.
My coffee is luke warm. Does that bug anyone else? I like mine fresh and HOT! It's Monday again, which means that I have a ton to do to recover from the weekend. I thought weekends were suppose to be relaxing. Not so much in our world.
In other news Taylor is 12 weeks old today! He is growing way to fast! He is all smiles and this morning he laughed for me. Such a sweet sound! Such a happy & content little man. I am so blessed!
Well I have projects to do and they aren't gonna get done with me sitting here typing.
Almost forgot about the blogger challenge:
Childhood memories. I think I'll stick with the good ones. Don't feel like talking about the sad. I have great memories from childhood. Most of them involve my sibs. We were such a close bunch. Loved all of the crazy made up games that we played. Good times!

Boys

I am so tired. Like I just woke up from what should be considered an appropriate amount of sleep. It was interrupted about 5 times by my hungry baby but, I don't think that's it. I think that it's just been so crazy the last few days.GO, go, go, go, go... KWIM? I have had fun while in the midst of the craziness but, once I slowed down it hit me. Fatigue!!! Riley is obsessed with turning the T.V. on and off and over and over again. I try not to let it bug me. We don't watch TV during the day and lately very rarely at night. I don't even think that it has anything to do with him watching the T.V. but, more with pushing buttons and getting a reaction. Boys! Riley loves anything that he can take apart or that makes noise. Taylor just sleeps and eats. Give him time (he's only 3 months). They keep things interesting and I wouldn't have it any other way. As I type this Riley is throwing his body across my chest. What might be described as a hug. I am drinking a really bad cup of coffee and wondering what my day will hold. I have a lot to do and not much motivation. I am feeling way behind. Better get off of my butt and get movin'.
Apparently Riley's channel of choice is the local news. They keep running video of the Trojan implosion. I don't think I really have an opinion about the demolition just surprised that my husband slept through something being blown up. KWIM???

Manic Friday???

Am having one of those days. Woke this morning to no water. Not a good way to start ones day. Was able to make baby a bottle from the water in my water bottle. Headed to Mom's where I am now. Sitting on her couch, in her living room. Also, got coffee on my white shirt. Don't you just love it when that happens. I had big plans to scrap. Guess that's not really gonna happen now. The baby is making smiley faces at me from his carrier. Hard to be down when you are looking at someone so sweet and lovely!
Sent in my Memory Works paperwork. I am so excited about this new prospect. I think it could be really good for me! Now I just have to wait and see. Not so good with the waiting.
Went to my sister's Mary Kay debut yesterday. Was a lot of fun to get all pretty. My skin feels really good. Wasn't really sure about the product 'cause I am a no fuss kinda girl but, I am sold! Summers are so great for picnics. Love getting together with family, sharing simple tasty food. Love the long, warm evenings and iced tea. Somehow life seems so different in Summer. KWIM? Thursday Blogger Challenge- What do I do when I am the only one home?
It happens so rarely. I usually have intentions to scrap but, actually manage to turn on some music and then I notice that this, that or the other needs to be done. Might take a nap because I can. I'm not sure that I could handle being home alone for much longer then a day. I really miss my kiddos when they are not around. I miss their noise and so much more. I would probably break down and invite someone over to scrap. I have lived in a packed house all of my life, I'm just not so good at solitude! LOL!

Hope to get some scrappin' done today. Feeling majorly creative. First I have a million morning things to do. Breakfast, make lunch for Andy, start some laundry, get dressed. The norm. From the looks of it I should vacuum too! All in a days work! It's gonna be HOT here again today. Need to get the chores done while it's still cool!

Getting through Monday

Mondays are my Sundays. Andy's back to work and I can just be. Today we had check-ups for both of the boys. So no morning solitude for Mommy. Still both are now napping giving me a few minutes to catch-up. This was a busy weekend for us. A birthday party on Saturday and Mother's day & Matt's birthday yesterday. Holidays are always like that. That's what happens when you split everything between 2 families. It was good, don't get me wrong. This week is stacking up already. The house needs to be cleaned, laundry done. The weather is warming up and I just want to be outside sipping Iced tea for hours! Made sure to get some pictures of me with the boys, something that rarely occurs and needs to more often!
I need to go buy a sun tea pitcher. One of the kinds with a spigot. I am loving this weather! Feel like I could use a nap though. The laptop is having some power supply issues. This really is a bunch of ramblings but, that's life. I went to a scrapbook store on Saturday. They were fabulous but, still didn't have the 7gypsies stuff that I was looking for. I am gonna have to break down and order online. Not really sure what a good online store is though. Must research. Would love to get some scrapping done. I am feeling way behind and I don't even have an order to it. Not fond of the feeling. Could really use a creative boost right about now. I need more coffee.
Blogger Challenge- What Pet wouldn't you allow your child to have?
Snakes, rodents.. Anything too messy or smelly. I am so not good with pets. Kids I can do, pets and plants are really a no go. I know this about myself. I would love to have a kitty but, I am better off just visiting the ones at Moms!

Goodbye Fat Pants!

I went to put on my fat pants 'cause everything else is in the wash and they so don't fit. They fall off! This is fabulous and amazing. A total victory considering that yesterday I was dying for some carbs. They were calling my name I kid you not. I was a good girl and resisted and I realize that it was so worth it. I mean who needs chocolate when you can have a new butt in old pants??? I am so happy I could run around the block or something. This is huge considering that I am now 10 pounds lighter then I was when I got pregnant with Taylor and he's only 10 weeks old!

Blogger challenge is to share something personal. Deep, meaningful, and something you overcame (?), a sadness.
I've needed this challenge for days.. But sitting here facing the possibilities of what to type I think maybe somethings are just to deep to let out of the box. Like if I go there it will somehow cause someone else pain or at least to be uncomfortable. Like it would somehow shift the balance that brought me all of my good things. My boys, my home, my current life. Not literally of course. I am prone to drama, and I know that I feel things pretty deeply. Am easily affected. I know that this thing is only in me, my feelings and no one else ever need know. Will I be sad for awhile? On some level. But that is nothing new in this area and no one has noticed yet. I can change nothing, and even if I could it would cost too much. Maybe it's just nice to get it out even if in only a small way.
Now that's a nice sad little entry but, they can't all be sunshine and daisies now can they????

Half Asleep

I feel like a zombie this morning. Riley hasn't been sleeping well lately there fore I haven't. One or two days I can take but, the lack of sleep is starting to take it's tole(?) on my brain. I have noticed that I am not noticing things. Make sense? Like I am autopilot and there really is no driver. It frusterating to me because I feel like have no control over my mind. Like my head is full of oatmeal or something. I pray that he will take a nap so that I can get some sleep too. It's gonna be a long day...

Blah, blah, blah

I really wanted donuts this morning. So not part of the plan and I . was a good girl. Not really sure what I want now but, it's something. Yesterday was NSD. It rocked. My first online crop. I got 7 LO's done. So much inspiration. So many talented women. So thankful to belong to such an awesome community. Really starting to feel like home.
Blogger challenge was on pet peeves. When it comes to certain people, things annoy me more then with others. Not really sure why that is.
Start of another week. Taylor is 10 weeks old. He's changing so fast. So is Riley. I am trying to hold their babyhood in my hands and it's like sand. It's really bad for someone like me who hates change. Well I guess hate isn't the right word. It just makes me really uncomfortable. Maybe that's just human nature. I don't like the uncertainty of change.

Feeling the creativity today. Finished my LO for Becs CJ! You wanna see it? Ok, then. Here it is!
Ok, wait those are backwards. Oh, well you get the idea. It took forever to down load them so I'm not gonna fix it right now. It's almost a little sad sending my work to someone else. Knowing that I won't ever see these pages again. Might have to make a special book just for my fav. CJ LO's. KWIM?
Baby just woke up from his nap. Is stretching his long baby arms. My kiddo has the longest arms. Wonder if that means he's going to be tall or just really good at reaching stuff? There are so many things that I wonder when I look at my kids. About the now, the future, random stuff. Kinda like this blog entry. A bunch of ramblings. It's probably good to get them down and out. KWIM? Isn't it funny how I type as if I were having a conversation with someone! Well when you are a SAHM of 2 under 2, you don't get a lot of conversation time in the course of a normal day. KWIM?
I'm now snuggling with the baby, yep I have the best job ever. I am so thankful that my DH makes this possible for me! I probably don't thank him enough. Is there someone who you have forgotten to thank? Well what are you waiting for. I'm pretty sure that It'll make them feel good and you'll feel even better.

Ramblings~

It's Thursday. I have to keep reminding myself that. For some reason the days of this week seem to be running together like one big blur. Not sure why that is really.
Blogger Challenge today is about inspiration. I have been majorly inspired by Cathy Zielske's new Clean and Simple Scrapbooking Sequel. If you are a SBer this is a must read. Besides having awesome pics of her FABULOUS LO's, her writing is fresh,funny and thought provoking. It totally makes you want to scrap!!! So inspirational, I was up until 1 am reading it! Until I physically couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. Until the rational part of my brain kicked in and over rode the scrapper part, and said "Hey, lady what are you doing? You're kids are going to be awake in 5 hours, and that's if you are lucky!" So, I made myself put down the book. Seriously though, run to your local LSS and pick up this book. SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

Tuesday Blogger Challenge

So I haven't blogged in a few days. I am a badddd blogger. My brain has been down and out. Need to start making myself go to bed at a decent hour. Blah, blah, blah. This is what I hear in my mind as I type this. I need another cup of coffee, or maybe a nap. I really love to scrap something today, my kids are climbing all over me right now. Literally, Riley keeps trying to hit the keys. "No, Riley." I say and he laughs. He's being a little naughty scotty this morning, or you know just really 1 1/2. Kinda throws me a little when he's this way because honestly he's just so darned good most of the time.
Blogger challenge was for favorite Summertime dessert. I love dessert but, my all time fav is best in Summer. Vanilla ice cream with fresh crushed strawberries! I LOVE strawberries!!! Now I want some, and I have just recently started my diet so I won't be having this fabulousness anytime soon. It really is delicious though! I make a killer fruit pizza too! maybe I'll share the recipe with you sometime. Right now I need more coffee... Have a great day y'all!
